2017 Aperture Gala

The 2017 Aperture Gala celebrated four artists at the intersection of photography, style, and human potential. This included Kwame Brathwaite, Zachary Drucker, and Inez & Vindoodh. The Gala coincided with the release of two Aperture publications—The Elements of Style issue of Aperture magazine and the photo book Fashion Photography: The Story in 180 Pictures.

The design referenced elements from both of these publications. The typographic treatment aligned with the cover of the magazine and the iridescent foil referenced the cover of the book Fashion Photography: The Story in 180 Pictures.
