Henri Cartier-Bresson: Interviews and Conversations (1951-1998) is the English translation of a series of talks with Henri Cartier-Bresson over the course of his lifetime.
The initial proposed book cover referenced the idea of the frame and the proportions strictly used by the influential photographer. In one of the interviews, Bresson notes that he never crops his images. The margins on the interior of the final book mimic these proportions to reference the artist’s work and commitment to the framing within the camera.
